Decision-making & production go under the radar when it comes to creating a meaningful work of literature, but that is why we have focused on it during my time in ENC 1101. Not only does this incorporate the planning process, but it also results in different revisions that make the essay or assignment a better overall piece.
Planning and Production
Creating a plan and sticking to that plan allows for a smoother production process and a better result overall. The example below is a remediation proposal aimed at helping identify the original rhetorical situation (Of Major Assignment 2 in my case) and choose a new one for the remediation project. This shows the production aspect we focused on in ENC 1101.
Decision Making Based off Review
Planning based on personal preference is important, but it is also important to use the basis of peer review to make meaningful changes to a piece of work. Below is an example of a peer review that I sent that allowed the reviewed to change their assignment for the better.
