Revision

Revision is one of the most important parts of the literary journey. Whether it's giving or receiving peer review, completely rewriting a literary piece, or simply fixing minor grammatical errors, everyone uses revision in their literary journey. During my time in English, we have used many methods of revision, from peer review to completely altering a form of media from one to another. Below, you will find an example of the Revision process used during my time in English 1101 at UCF.

Peer review

Peer review was important in creating a coherent final product. Without peer review, I would have missed out on potential things that could have elevated my writing and gotten me a better grade. Below is an example of a peer review that I received.

Simple Revisions

Simple Revisions are the basis for creating meaningful changes from the initial to the final drafts of a literary work. These not only create a better final product, but also allow for a greater literary understanding. Using both the roghg and final drafts of my Major Assignment 2, it is easy to see how revision was a huge part of my literary journey at ENC 1101.

Remediation

Turning a literary piece from one form to another can be challenging, but doing something easy never leads to growth. Below is an example of a work that was revised from an essay format to an auditory format.

"Good writing is essentially rewriting."
