Multiple Litericies & Goal Setting

Understanding multiple forms of literacy is something that we focused on majorly during my time in English 1101. Whether it was looking at discourse communities or learning about multimodal literacy, there are forms of literacy that we don't often internalize that we come across on a day-to-day basis. One example that stands out to me was working on my textual analysis of a multimodal media literacy practice. For my presentation, I discussed how cooking could be seen as something more than just the act itself, but a way to connect and share community among different people.
